About us
Quadhurst is an organisation dedicated to reproducing elements of our British heritage that we’ve either lost or forgotten about. Initially established to recreate our lost streetscape heritage (see below), Quadhurst has also embarked upon producing maps, signs and garden art, all of which fulfil Quadhurst’s principal vision - to save from extinction those elements of our heritage that otherwise would be forgotten or lost.
Quadhurst Maps has created a best-seller in its large-scale map of our historic and never-changed counties. Now it has also created from an original private commission a full-colour diagrammatic map of Nottingham’s trolleybus system.
Quadhurst Signs is a completely new line of products and arose again from a private commission from someone who wanted to give his anglophilic US-based brother a special birthday gift in the form of a full-size reproduction of a classic British destination sign of the town in which he was born. These are now available to your own requirements, full, half or quarter size. We also offer stunningly faithful reproductions of our former system and design of road signs, again to your requirements from a choice of designs or as stylised signs from stock. Whatever your requirement, Quadhurst Signs can make it for you.
Quadhurst Garden Art is the latest new line of products. Wow your neighbours with scaled reproductions of classic British street lighting designs from over half a century ago. These ornamental lighting units come with a choice of bracket and lantern.- all faithfully recreated from original designs.
